This is a point feature class representing public use aircraft landing facilities in the CAPCOG region. Attributes include physical and operational characteristics of the airfields.
This dataset was created to provide information on airfield location and type for the CAPCOG region.
Data obtained from US Bureau of Transportation Statistics via Texas Natural Resources Information System and clipped to CAPCOG extent. This metadata was created by CAPCOG and is not the original metadata.

The geospatial and tabular data (the data) developed and/or distributed by the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) is being made available to the general public under certain terms and conditions.
